We are looking to recruit innovative and dynamic Registered Midwives who have a passion for midwifery and who would like to be a part of shaping maternity services of the future.

We welcome innovation and the contribution of all staff to ensure safe and respectful care to all pregnant women / birthing person and their families.


The post holder will provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for women and their families that inclusively respect the rights of the patients whilst practising within the NMC Code and supported by local policies and guidelines.

To provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for women and their families.

Be personally accountable for their practice and must adhere to the NMC standards expected of them.


Assesses, develops, implements and evaluates programmes of care in a range of environments, without supervision whilst maintaining effective communication with the multidisciplinary team and patient.

Supports, supervises and teaches less experienced staff on the ward/team relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures and practices.


Works autonomously within the department/team within Trust guidelines and sphere of professional practice with the guidance from the community midwifery manager, deputy manager or matron.

Promotes home birth and engages in the 'on call rota'.

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trist is a large organisation with three hospitals located in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole.


Scunthorpe site provides community midwifery services accross North Lincolnshire with community bases situated in Scunthorpe, Brigg, Barton, Epworth and Goole.

The Trust's 6,500 members of staff care for and support a population of more than 400,000 people.
