The Expatriate Benefits Solutions (Expat) team assist multinational organisations in the development and management of employee benefit programs for Internationally Mobile Employees (IMEs) and International assignees.

Fantastic opportunity to join the teamas an Expatriate Benefits Solutions Consultant, the role is a London based position offering a Hybrid workstyle, as this is where the bulk of client opportunities will emerge from.

It is within our Expat team, a team who work on behalf of our clients, securingand placing employee benefit coverages with carriers and providers who offer products in this unique market segment.

The Expat team are very experienced in dealing with and understanding the distinct challenges faced by global organisations with international assignees or expatriate employees.

Working with a select group of global insurers, we ensure benefit programmes arecompliant, competitive and financially sustainable.

Our team of specialists support clients with the very latest thinking in the design, development and management of global expatriate medical, life and disability arrangements.

As a leader within the team the role will also have a degree of team mentoring and development however at this time no direct people management responsibilities.


The Role

  • Manage International Healthcare and Risk benefit providers for own client base using negotiation and influencing skills as appropriate.
  • Proactive manage renewals to ensure completion in timely manner.
  • Assist with rebroking exercises, analysis and verification of providers' contract terms.
  • Deal with queries from clients.
  • Maintain and utilise inhouse technology platform in terms of retaining client information and managing contract renewals.
  • Manage client budgets to work efficiently and dealing with client invoicing.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and professional excellence.

The Requirements

  • Experience of consulting to multinational corporations and global organisations in the; International Employee Benefit market
  • Successful track record in advising and communicating appropriate solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Expert level understanding of international private medical and risk solutions and the various risk financing mechanisms supporting insurance placements in these segments
  • Ability to identify and develop a 'target list' of prospective clients
  • Ability to identify and nurture a requirement with clients for our services and products
  • The ability to work in a collaborative manner within crossdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both externally and internally
  • An existing market presence with strong influencing skills with carriers is preferred
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are welcome
