Hours 7.30 am to 5 pm

Managing four staff

Must have previous experience working in a Builders Merchants

My well-established client is seeking a
Yard Foreman for their Builders Merchants in Glasgow

You will be responsible for keeping the yard in a tidy condition and reporting any faulty and damaged goods, assisting with loading and unloading the lorries into the yard.

There is an element of manual handling, ensuring no damage is done to the goods

You will be required to have a Fork Lift Licence (Counter Balance) a Combi licence would also be desirable but not essential

This isn't a client-facing role, but it is essential you are professional if you come into contact with customers

It is important you use your initiative and manage your time effectively and that you are physically fit.
