REED Engineering are proud to be recruiting for a very successful manufacturing company based in Birtley who are seeking to employ an Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

As an Electrical Design Engineer some of your key duties will include:

  • Identifying and estimating controls panels from the customer-supplied documentation and meetings with clients
  • The generation of electrical schematic diagrams. This includes the internal and external layout diagrams employing AutoCAD Electrical software
  • The creation of Bills of Materials and other supporting documents
  • The creation of Operation and Maintenance files for finalised projects
