Role Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Business Partner within People & Culture.
The People & Culture service provides a framework for the management and development of our people and organisation which underpins the University's strategic plan and objectives.
About the Role
You will provide a high-quality professional Business Partnering approach working with key stakeholders within the school of Cranfield Defence and Security and one of our Professional Service Units.
You will often be the first point of contact for a wide and diverse range of people matters and queries, which you will liaise and support managers and staff with, providing excellence in customer service throughout.
You will develop good working relationships, ensuring a high quality, effective and well-regarded service is provided, supporting your areas in achieving their strategic objectives.
You will also contribute to wider University People & Culture initiatives, including input to policy and procedures, and delivery of key projects as and when required.
About You
You will be Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualified with a first degree or equivalent experience.
You will have experience of operating in a client-facing, HR generalist role where advice and guidance is provided on a wide range of people issues to a broad range of stakeholders.
A working knowledge of current employment law and HR best practice is essential.About Us
