Project Officer VIP (fixed Term) (Job Share)

Belfast LVT

Hours:
Up to 25 hours per week (Job Share)

Duration:
The position will be fixed term up to 1st September 2024

Salary:
£25,000
FTE

MAIN DUTIES:

Identify opportunities for participants with disabilities to volunteer within the local community through supporting the coordinator to build partnerships with external organisations to host volunteer placements.
Recruit and engage participants to take part in the project by utilising internal and external referral pathways eg Employment & Community Inclusion Service, social work teams, local schools and colleges etc
Facilitate volunteering opportunities through providing support to participants to engage in the programme. This will include supporting a case load of participants and offering 11 or group based coaching/mentoring and regular visits to host organisations.
Ensure individual and activity based risk assessments and risk management plans are followed and updated as required.
Produce reports, data and administration for the project as required, ensuring GDPR legislation is adhered to.
Support the Coordinator to facilitate the Project User Forum, ensuring that "Project Champions" are supported and encouraged to become ambassadors for Orchardville.
Participant in the project advisory group which will meet twice per year.

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION

Essential Criteria

Educated to Level 3 or equivalent i.e. A level, AS level, NVQ level 1 years experience of supporting people with disabilities or disadvantage within an education, training, employment or residential setting.
Effective communication skills tailored to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
