We are seeking a programme co-ordinator to support our Salesforce IT Support (SFITS) Team. This is a busy and high-performing IT delivery team covering operational support and the delivery of enhancements and projects.


What it's like to work here:This is a functional but varied key role within the Salesforce IT Support (SFITS) team, where you will be reporting directly to the Salesforce IT Delivery Lead, as well as liaising with other stakeholders such as product owners, business owners, the programme leadership team and third parties across IT and the wider National Trust.


The primary role of the SFITS Team is to provide technical and operational support of our most business-critical system using the Salesforce platform to provide all supporter interactions, marketing, revenue and finance services across our central Support & Revenue and Comms & Marketing teams.


The team are also fully engaged with National Trust's ongoing programme of development of this platform to support the deployment of new capabilities that are functional, conforms to design principles and is supportable before entering live service.


The team also play a part in the decision-making on our technology choices, bringing their knowledge of our business and current systems in to shape our requirements for the future.


This is an exciting time in the programme as we have now delivered the first phase of transformation and plan to continue to deliver - through future enhancements - more transformation on the services we're able to offer our supporters, both online across our digital channels and through our properties and supporter services centre.


The programme will be key in enabling us to grow support in the future by giving us better and richer information about what our supporters want from us and, in turn, how we can best engage with our supporters.


What you'll be doing:
The Programme Co-ordinator is responsible for providing a high-quality support service to the Salesforce IT Support Team.

You'll provide key support which enables a hard-working IT delivery team to meet their priorities and objectives through strong planning and organisational skills.

You'll ensure that the team is integrated and collaborative in their ways of working from both within the team and externally to other teams by providing a consistent point of contact and ensuring a quality and consistent level of customer service.


You'll work closely with the Salesforce IT Delivery Lead and Head of IT Delivery to create and maintain effective reporting; highlighting the team's progress, performance metrics which track the performance of our operational systems and calling out key risks and issues to enable our senior stakeholders to take vital evidence-based decisions.


You'll take responsibility to maintain and update our key administrative and operational tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, MS Office apps, and our internal incident management system (ServiceNow) so that the team can continue to work efficiently with the most up-to-date information.

You'll promote and be an ambassador for the team using your strong people and communications skills as you liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders - including senior leaders - routinely converting your technical knowledge of the platform into simple and easily digestible terms.

You'll promote best practices within the team through your knowledge of delivery workflows and product enhancement cycles, whilst adhering to the Trust's IT Delivery and Assurance Framework.

Finally, there will be an opportunity to co-ordinate finances - raising Purchase Orders and tracking enhancement budgets - all while remaining compliant to the Trust's financial procedures.

Who we're looking forTo be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent people skills to form strong working relationships with those in your team, the wider programme, and across the National Trust.
  • Experience in coordinating activities within projects or programmes and disseminating actions for programme related meetings, within an IT delivery team or similar teams focussing on technical delivery and have confidence in providing best practice advice regarding project or programme management.
  • Experience in using a range of communication and reporting techniques, including the creation of presentation packs, diagrams & roadmaps, and being able to present these confidently to a wide audience.
  • Experience in using a range of administrative, delivery and operational tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, SharePoint and the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of budgets, finances, records management and maintaining an audit trail.
