Monday to Friday 08-00 to 16-30*
Location: Central Glasgow

*Applicants must be flexible to work additional hours from time to time in line with a project's requirements.

Applicants must be willing to work on the tools as and when required.


A lot of the work is in the central belt but there can sometimes be a requirement to work away from home so this should be considered when applying.

Delta Energy are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic renewable energy company.

As the Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the electrical aspects of our renewable energy projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

You will lead a team of electrical technicians and collaborate with other departments to contribute to the successful implementation and maintenance of our renewable energy solutions whilst overseeing our current and future project.


Delta energy's main focus is within the renewable energy industry encompassing large scale solar PV projects, energy storage systems and EV charging.


Project Supervision:


Lead, supervise, and coordinate the electrical team in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV), EV Charging, and energy storage systems.

Ordering materials for upcoming projects

Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and budget constraints.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess workmanship, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.


Safety Compliance:

Uphold strict safety protocols and standards, ensuring all electrical works are conducted with the highest regard for safety.


Provide safety training and support to team members, emphasizing the importance of safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


Ensure employees and subcontractors adhere to health & safety requirements, liaise with clients, health & safety officials, carry out tests & inspections and complete paperwork.


Technical Expertise:

Possess a deep understanding of renewable energy systems, electrical schematics, and relevant regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.


Team Management:

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, motivating the electrical team to achieve project objectives effectively.

Facilitate team development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of project activities, including equipment logs, inspection reports, and work completion documentation.

Prepare regular progress reports for project management and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all electrical installations are completed to high-quality standards and comply with applicable codes and regulations.

Implement rigorous testing and inspection procedures to verify the integrity of electrical components and connections.


Procurement and Inventory:

Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage electrical equipment and material orders.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of electrical supplies.


Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in renewable energy and electrical technologies.

Quality control of work carried out by the team and subcontractors

Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and productivity.


Qualifications and qualities required:

Time served Electrician.

Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, with at least 5 years of relevant experience

willingness to obtain an In-depth knowledge of renewable energy systems, electrical installations, and related equipment.

Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures in the renewable energy industry and construction industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Exceptional organisational and communication skills.

Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management and reporting.
