We are actively hiring Activity Leaders for our English Summer Camps that we organise for international students across many locations in the UK.

As an Activity Leader, you will be responsible for leading students on excursions, conducting walking and bus tours of sights, interacting with, and engaging with students on campus and on excursions by conducting activities and assisting with check-ins and check-outs.

You will be required to live on the campus and work under the direct supervision of the Campus Manager.

Locations:
Windsor (Wellington College), Uxbridge, Kingston, Epsom, Hatfield, Chelmsford, and Ellesmere (_further details further down)_

Some of the other Duties and Responsibilities:

Interact with participants on the coach buses on the way to and from tourist sights, doing activities, playing games, etc.
Engage with and conduct activities with students during their "free time"
Assist the Activity management team in ensuring that excursions run smoothly
Coordinate and lead day and overnight trips, as instructed
Supervise students on the buses and at the tourist sights
Supervise and participate in oncampus activities
Coordinate and lead oncampus activities, as requested
Attend and participate in all the following activities: talent shows, graduation ceremonies, and presentations that orient students to the PLUS programme
Conduct campus tours for participants and encourage student participation in events
Interact with groups of international students and their Group Leaders in a professional, enthusiastic, and customer serviceoriented manner
Supervise students in the residence halls and dining hall
Supervise students during excursions and oncampus events, as instructed
Attend daily staff meetings
Assist in the distribution, tracking, and reconciliation of travelcards, meal vouchers and other
Assist in preparing the campus for students' arrival
Assist in the distribution of boxed meals
Walk students to and from classroom buildings, as instructed

REQUIRED:

Must be eligible to work in the UK
Must be 18+
Must be willing to live on the campus
A minimum commitment of 2 weeks

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE HAS:

Good level of both spoken and written English
Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone and as part of a team
Enthusiastic, friendly and positive personality, takes initiative and is creative
Patience and passion to work with children

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

contact your referees (All references will be contacted and specifically asked whether there is any reason that the applicant should not be working with anyone under the age of 18)
Run enhanced DBS checks (the cost is covered by Plus Ltd)
Ask you to complete 2 short online courses (Prevent and Safeguarding)

*you must be residential (live on campus)

*full board accommodation (all meals included)

*£9.10 accommodation deduction fee per working day (£54.60 per week), the rest of the costs are covered by us

*minimum required stay is 2 weeks

Working hours:

Your shift can be anytime between 7:30 10:30pm
6 days a week (up to 48hrs)

Salary wage:

- £ £92.32 daily rate - depending on age, in accordance with the national minimum wage

Pay is inclusive of holiday

- £9.10 accommodation deduction fee per working day (£54.60 per week), the rest of the costs are covered by us
