Spinwell is recruiting for a Creative Content Producer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CREATIVE CONTENT PRODUCER
- be excited by working with typography, pictograms and narrative methods to create clean, modern graphics that work across multiple channels, devices, browsers and platforms
- help document and explain how modern software and design practices are delivering word-class, user-centred public services
- be expected to collaborate with your colleagues across the Communications team and other stakeholders to produce the most effective creative content for the audience you are trying to reach, contributing to our overall ideas and marketing plans in a way that is consistent with the visual language of GDS and GOV.UK.
- work with writers, film-makers, communication specialists alongside policy and technical experts to translate complicated ideas into clear, simple diagrams, animations, presentations, leaflets, posters and graphics that are of a high quality and consistent with other GDS design work
- create diagrams and imagery for presentations and blog posts
- create animated infographics for short films
- create graphics and animations for social media
- ensure that animations, diagrams and social media graphics build productive relationships with the wider GDS design community and contributing to their work and GDS's brand identity
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CREATIVE CONTENT PRODUCER
- have experience in using Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Indesign
- know how to remove complexity from intricate information
- have the ability to advise best practice for simple and clear copy for motion graphics, powerpoint or social media
- have a portfolio showing a good understanding of functional typography and variety of design skills
- know how to prepare design materials for print, screen and for social media
- are able to explain ideas in a way that other people understand
- understand how form and function work together
- have experience working with agencies or creative specialists to supplement an internal team to prioritise work and deliver to changing deadlines
