Information Services Group - Learning, Teaching and Web; Digital Skills and Training

Fixed term (12 months)

Full time (35 hours per week)
**The post holder is expected to work in the office, in Edinburgh, as per project requirements.


The Opportunity:


As a Training Consultant you will take a lead role in scheduling and delivering a programme of training events to upskill existing and new web publishers and editors on the EdWeb2 platform.

Collaborating with the project team, you will iteratively work on improving the programme of training based on user feedback and new functionality introduced to the platform during the project.

You will analyse attendance and feedback data and report against project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


Skills and Attributes for success:


  • Good understanding of learning and development principles and practices.
  • Demonstrable experience of designing, developing and delivering training and resources at scale, both facetoface and online.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a project environment and delivering training programmes to project timescales and budget.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capable of managing stakeholder relationships, including liaising and forming effective working relationships at an operational level. Evidence of excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to present complex information effectively.
