We are looking for a talented Residential Childcare Tutor Assessor to work for us.

We want to recruit someone with skills to deliver apprenticeship programmes by providing exceptional standards of training, assessment and coaching, ensuring learners are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to succeed in the next stage of their career.

The Role:


To manage a caseload of learners, adhering to internal delivery standards, policies and procedures, including following learner journeys to ensure timely success rates of apprenticeship programmes.


You will also be required to:

  • Develop and deliver engaging creative curriculum and learning solutions, developing and stretching learner's knowledge, skills and behaviours beyond the apprenticeship standard.
  • Complete robust initial assessments/all about me to identify the learner's starting point, including understanding their strengths and development needs, using this information to stretch and develop apprentices to reach their full potential throughout their apprenticeship programme.
  • Consistently engage and coach apprentices to embed learning and ensure all apprentices are supported to achieve their full potential at every opportunity.

In addition, you'll need to:

  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written communication
  • Have a strong ability to motivate, coach and inspire individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • Have extensive industry experience in the Residential Childcare sector
  • Have considerable experience in training and developing others at senior management level
  • Have proven experience of delivering apprenticeship standards
  • Be Level 3 TAQA qualified and have Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare. Maths and English Level 2 Functional Skills attainment or equivalent is also a requirement.

The Package:

Salary:
up to £28,000 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday
