Business Administrator
Working on behalf of our Basildon based client we are seeking a Business Administrator.


The Role

Training will be provided, and duties will include:

  • Supporting other administrative teams, to help ease demand and/or as required.
  • Getting involved in various projects.
  • Maintaining data within the finance dept (including Sub contractor database, including CIS)
  • Supporting routine accounting tasks to a high degree of accuracy including payroll processing and updating asset inventory
  • Assisting with subcontractor management, and feed to payroll
  • Supporting the ongoing review of systems, processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work
  • Good working knowledge of MS office
  • Previous accounting function experience with knowledge of Sage 50 is desirable.
  • Understanding of purchase ledger, payroll processing including CIS payments is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Salary - up to £30,000 + benefits

Monday - Friday 8.00am pm (Flexible working is offered once fully trained).
