Secondary Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor - West Leeds - Immediate Start

I am currently working with a secondary school in the West Leeds area who are needing a cover supervisor to work on a daily/weekly basis starting immediately.

The school in question is easily accessible by car and public transport for anyone in the LS6/LS7/LS28/LS12/LS13areas.

The secondary school is a supportive mainstream setting where behaviour is more often than not manageable, with a strong and stable leadership team that leads from the front and helps maintain standards of learning across the board.

Requirements:

Confident and forwardthinking individuals
Be able to deliver preplanned work up to 30 pupils at a time
A desire to make a difference to young people's lives
The ability to manage behaviour effectively and follow instructions
Experience working with secondary aged pupils years
Enhanced DBS on the update service (can be applied for)

What does a cover supervisor do?

Reports any behavioural or safeguarding issues immediately
Keeps classrooms safe and tidy
Makes sure pupils are learning at all times during the lesson.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a registration interview
