Production Engineer

Salary - £28-30,000
An understanding and knowledge of types of metals, and practical experience with metals, is essential. Knowledge of Electrics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics would be desirable.

Other Duties

Work alongside the General Manager to increase and then maintain product output.
To be involved in the development and purchasing of further equipment.
To investigate and offer suggestions for process improvements and / or cost reductions.
To assist in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff.
To diagnose faults and repair machinery and associated equipment.
To provide assistance as and when required to any and all members of the team.
To provide assistance to Service Engineers as and when required.
To assist with any other requirements associated with production.
Positive, can do and flexible attitude
A good working knowledge of health and safety Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
