We are currently seeking a Payroll-Coordinator for a leading organisation in Derby. The company are award winning and one of the biggest and most succesful in their field.

In the role you will be responsible for overseeing end to end payroll. Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly payrolls for all employees.


Job Spec:


  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls for all employees.
  • Handle all aspects of the endtoend employee lifecycle, including new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Implement and follow the process, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Collect and process data for new employees entering the organization.
  • Verify and enter relevant information such as personal details, tax information, and bank details.
  • Process payroll adjustments for employees leaving the organization.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of final payments, including any accrued leave or other entitlements.
  • Handle payroll adjustments for employees with changes in their employment contracts.
  • Update salary, benefits, and other relevant information accurately.
  • Track and process absences, ensuring that payroll deductions or adjustments are made accurately.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain necessary information regarding employee absences.
  • Manage various payrelated deductions, such as taxes, insurance, and other benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding deductions.
  • Crossreference payroll data with the Time and Attendance System to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Resolve any discrepancies between payroll data and time and attendance records.
