    Strategic Sourcing Role Available at a Global Services Company

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join a valued procurement function and drive profitability through strategic growth initiatives.

    As a Procurement Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Fleet and play a crucial role in managing tenders and supplier relationship management (SRM).

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Implement effective category management strategies in collaboration with the Head of Fleet.
    • Prioritize initiatives and drive procurement projects to successful completion by engaging with key stakeholders.
    • Manage strategic sourcing projects from development through negotiation and contract award.
    • Oversee commercial supplier management and ensure compliance with procurement governance.
    • Lead complex sourcing events and negotiations, ensuring alignment with category strategies and delivering impactful savings.
    • Built strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, enhancing stakeholder management skills.
    • Drive supplier performance improvements and recommend changes when necessary.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management is required.
    • Proficient in writing and managing compliant tenders and contracts.
    • Ability to present commercial insights with confidence and authority.
    • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent influencing and communication skills.
    • CIPS qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
