FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION


We are working with a leading independent asset management firm who provide clients with thoughtful and effective solutions to strategic and financial matters.

The firm currently operates in over 40 cities across 27 countries around the world.


Therole 's responsibilities include:


  • Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements of the firm and its UK subsidiaries, utilising IRIS accounts production software
- iXBRL tagging of financial statements for tax return purposes

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations for quarterly review
  • Accounting, disclosure of benefit pension schemes
  • Accounting of key noncompensation accruals and expenses
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Accounting and reconciliation of Intercompany recharges and transactions
  • Preparation of Financial Statements
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- ad-hoc analysis for internal and external reporting purposes

  • Ad hoc requests and project work

Key Skills:


  • 02 years+ post qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
- strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to be organised and work under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • A high level of selfmotivation and initiative
  • Able to maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct

Desirable Key Skills:


  • Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102) and US GAAP
  • Experience in preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting
  • Experience using IRIS accounts production software or similar
  • Experience of multicurrency accounting and consolidations
  • Experience of the SAP general ledger system and Analysis for Office
