Roseberys are expanding their team and seeking a diligent, enthusiastic Client Services assistant to work in its busy reception area.

This is a full-time position that encompasses a variety of customer facing roles supporting the Auction House.


Overview & Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:


  • Assist with the daily running of the auction house reception
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints and escalate these to the Client Services Manager when necessary
  • Coordinate valuers for inhouse valuations
  • Support & administer collections and deliveries
  • Process payments, cash and card transactions
  • Send out pre & post auction correspondence
  • Filing & data entry into Roseberys auction management software
  • Assist with various administration tasks for both live and online auctions
  • Aid clients registering for sales on our websites and carryout bids administration
  • Issue Property Receipts/Contracts when instructed to do so by the Client Services Manager
  • Keeping the reception area clean and tidy

Skills & Qualifications:


  • An organised and methodical approach to daily tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and previous experience in a client facing position and complaints resolution.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and in a busy customer facing environment.
  • Be confident using computers and new software packages.
  • Previous experience of cash handling and card payment transactions.
  • Previous auction house experience desirable but not essential.
This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday 9-5.30pm with some weekend work required for auctions and viewings.
