We're looking for a Deputy Manager for a busy and thriving complex care at home service that delivers high-quality care in a way that supports each of their clients to live the life they want to.


The Deputy Manager is responsible for the implementation of new complex care packages, supporting and assisting the Branch Manager in the running of the service and deputising for them in their absence.

We're looking for somebody that has experience of managingstaff within a homecare / domiciliary care environment previously, who is looking for a new challenge.


Complex Care at Home is an interesting and rewarding part of the social care sector to work within and my client are offering a great salary and range of benefits, including a salary of £30,000 - £35,000, performance related bonus, 33 days leave includingbank holidays, your birthday off, plus 34 days leave and the opportunity to develop and progress your career.


The Deputy Manager role

  • Supporting and assisting the Registered Manager with the daytoday activities of the branch
  • Taking the lead on the implementation of new care packages, working closely with the individual, their family and commissioner, to recruit quality, wellmatched staff to support the package, and managing the transition into the service.
  • Managing complex discharges from hospital settings
  • Handing over packages to the office team once implemented and supporting them to deliver that package to a high standard
  • Ensuring that CQC requirements and relevant legislation are adhered to at all times
  • Attending multidisciplinary meetings

What we're looking for somebody who

  • Has experience of managing staff in a home care setting this could be domiciliary care, supported living or complex care. You'll have worked in a role such as Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Care Coordinator, Care Manager or similar
  • Has a good working knowledge of CQC requirements
  • Has a proactive approach and a positive cando attitude
  • Ideally holds NVQ 3/4 or QCF3/5 or similar in social care
