Financial Controller

South Liverpool

£65,000 + benefits
This is a superb opportunity to join a market leading SME business.
Reporting into the FD, you will need to be 'hands on' and enthusiastic.

YOU will be qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), have an eye for detail, and will be involved with month end acceleration and reporting improvements.

Working within a professional and laid-back culture, you will manage a team of 2.
Hybrid working - 3 days in the office ideally.

YOUR Core Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the daytoday activities of the finance department, ensuring all reconciliations and procedures are completed on a timely basis in advance of deadlines.
  • Maintaining tight control over invoicing, debtor collection and accounts payable activities, and cash resource management.
  • Ensuring that the monthly management accounts are prepared within prescribed timescales, providing commentary and expert insight into financial variances and trends.
  • Lead the accounting systems development and financial reporting tool development including the simplification of processes and automation of reconciliation activity, driving the finance systems integration and implementation changes across the organisation.
  • Lead the preparation of cash flow forecasts, the annual budget and inyear forecasting exercises.
