Description

We are currently looking for, 2 Machine Operatives for our client in BB5 5YJ.

You will be using a band saw and also a T draw machine, you will also be using tape measure, set square and spirit leave.

Experience within this is essential

Hours are:

First 2 weeks will be 6am-2pm, then after 2 weeks you will be doing 2 weeks on 6am-2pm, then 2 weeks on 10am-7pm.

Pay is £10.98

This job is 12 weeks temp to perm, then after 12 weeks the company will offer you a permanent position, with that you will be given profit shares in the company which is paid every March as a one off payment, the min payment for this is £5000 payment which is uncapped bonus every year

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machines to ensure they are running efficiently and producing quality products
Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working order
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Experience:

Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred
Basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate dimensions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Proficiency in using hand tools to assemble, fabricate, and adjust machine parts
Mechanical knowledge to understand the workings of different machines and make necessary adjustments
Familiarity with logic controllers and CAD software is a plus
Experience in materials handling, including loading and unloading materials onto machines
Knowledge of tooling requirements for different manufacturing processes
Experience working in a warehouse or production environment is beneficial
