Description

Production Engineer - Automotive experience
Permanent opportunity Based Tamworth
Fantastic salary - £40,000 - £46,000
Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm

Main duties to include:

Analyse and interpret the customer requirements to determine feasibility of product proposal
To develop and design the product or part from the first idea through the design process and the validation phase until the product is implemented in production
To be responsible for developing and establishing layout and packing models
Meet KPI's deadline timings and deliverables of the project
Quality checking products
Working with customers and product engineering teams
Support customer builds when needed
Working with cross functional teams
Execute all other reasonable duties as requested by the R&D manager
Travel overseas when required
Strong organisational and time management skills ability to plan and work on multiple, ongoing projects
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels
Must have the ability to work well with others and to establish and facilitate good cooperation and communication.
Selfmotivated and good decisionmaking ability
Adaptable to change
Desire to learn and develop
Ability to problem solve
