The Growth Company (GC) is looking to recruit a Workshops and Events Facilitator who will support and enable the delivery of our one-to-many workshop events across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:


  • To manage a portfolio of internal workshops & events programmes, ensuring that each event is delivered on time and in line with the key stakeholder requirements.
  • Proactively engage with workshop stakeholders offering support and guidance on such things as date planning, event page content curation, and marketing options.
  • Utilise CRM and similar systems to refer clients to inhouse and partner services.
  • Ensuring correct allocation of event hours on the CRM system by liaising with stakeholder teams.
  • Interrogate, analyse, and report on data systems to support, and input management information.
  • Liaise with senior managers to support the continuous development of the suite of workshops ensuring that these remain relevant and appropriate in an everchanging marketplace.
  • Support senior management with the organisation of seminars, conferences, and workshops, ensuring the effective administration of such events including promotion and venues, and delegate registration, attendance, and feedback.
  • Produce management information reports in line with business requirements and timescales as well as in response to ad hoc requests; support managers to prepare reports to the senior team, Boards and partners/funders.
  • Support the implementation of customer satisfaction and feedback processes.

About You:


  • Ensuring compliance within programmes funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
  • Delivering projects of work to meet defined targets and competing priorities.
  • Tracking and producing performance management data.
  • Use of databases, management information systems, CRM systems.
  • High level of knowledge and understanding in contract management practice, and compliance particularly concerning ERDF, European, and national government funding.
  • Logical, high attention to detail.
  • Approachable, with confidence to request data/information from professionals when required and highlight noncompliance (with the support and backing of the Project Manager).

Skills and experience required:


  • Able to integrate data and CRM systems to produce performance management data.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and high level written and oral communication skills.
  • Sound professional judgment and the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Ability to manage own time and to work unsupervised.
  • Responds positively to new and revised programmes.
  • Confidence and presence to engage all levels internally.

This post will be initially funded under the UKSPF programme
GC aims to promote a culture of flexibility and agile working.
