Description
A leading law firm in central London are seeking to hire a Legal Finance Manager on a six-month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role has a broad scope in managing the finance function for the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting SRA and Year end audit
- Banking reconciliations (client and office accounts)
- Preparing management accounts (good knowledge of Prepayment/Accruals)
- All Statutory VAT, PAYE and NI, Monthly and Yearly submissions.
- Yearly / weekly cash flow and management reports
- Updating the purchase ledger
- Data analysis
Person Specification
- At least 1 year working in legal accounts or in a similar role, ideally in a legal environment, but this is not essential
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work Good time management skills and deadlinedriven
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy in relevant software packages — Microsoft Excel skills (Sumif/Vlookup/Pivot table)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions given
- Ability to cope with pressure and always maintain a calm manner
