The Role

Summary of Role

This role is fixed term for 12 months to support the team due to major projects this year. The potential for the role to continue will be reviewed in 2024 dependent on the growth of the company.


As a key member of the
HR Team, you will provide an effective, efficient, confidential and professional recruitment support for the Recruitment Manager and the business.

You will ideally have experience in an administrative and recruitment role.

You will happily deal with changing priorities whilst managing the co-ordination of recruitment and the combined administrative workload, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

You will also support other ad hoc
HR administration.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Log new, approved vacancies and advertise via the agreed mediums, ensure vacancy approval process is adhered to
  • Log and coordinate applicants and interviews; undertaking initial shifting, screening and regrets in a timely fashion
  • Liaise with employment agencies when necessary, maintain associated relationships
  • Manage the digital production of offer documentation and associated paperwork and action new starter processes e.g. offer letters, contract, starter packs, preemployment checks
  • Set up new starter records on the
    HRIS System and logs, update new starter skills, records, certificates and payroll data
  • Seek references when required
  • Ensure vacancy approval process is adhered to
  • Deputise and deliver Business Induction for new starters, when necessary
  • Record all new starter details in all relevant administration files.
  • With the Recruitment Manager support the internal and external Talent Bank logs
  • Create induction training schedules with the relevant Managers and departments
  • Coordinate and hand over new starters administration and training post probation to the relevant managers and
    HR coOrdinators to relevant
    HRD
  • Raise relevant Purchase Orders and Co-Ordinate Recruitment payments with Finance

Technical Skills

  • Previous experience of using a Human Resources Information System, Select
    HR would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role would be an advantage
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Numerate and able to write with clarity and sensitivity
  • General understanding/awareness of Recruitment practices and key employment legislation.

  • Deadline conscious, organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask managing a challenging workload and meet strict deadlines

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • An awareness of health and safety policies, risk assessments and be proactive in implementing them

Salary:
£25,000.00-£25,001.00 per year
