Description

The Clinical Skills Facilitator role will support and develop Nursing and Health care Support workers practice focusing on clinical excellence and quality.

As a Clinical Skills Facilitator, working closely with the Professional Development Nurse, you will provide a full range of acute care whilst supporting and teaching others to do the same, whilst maintaining and expanding your own clinical skills and knowledge, in line with your own personal development.

To support the induction of new starters into the clinical areas.


To balance your time working with the new nursing team and the existing team to upskill them via facilitating, role modelling and coaching, to increase the quality & safety of care for patients and aid in retention of staff.

To be able to give feedback honestly and constructively.
