The Role of Managing Director:

With full support of the current MD (retiring over the next 6-12 months), you will have the autonomy of managing the business and motivating your team with your entrepreneurial spirit.

Hands-on, you will be personally engaged with customers with a willingnessto fully immerse yourself in the technical aspects of the company as well as at the commercial end.

Managing a team of 15 experienced people the company have a revenue of circa £3m.

You are likely to hold a qualification in Engineering or similar technical field with several years of experience as a Senior Director with full P&L responsibility.

A charismatic leader, you will be well versed in managing a team, technically minded and self-motivated.

Experience in the management of a technical consultancy business would be superb however a senior leader from a manufacturing business would also be very suitable.
