Our client is a stalwart of the UK Removals and Storage Industry. A multi-branch, long term BAR member with a great reputation for quality.

They are now looking for a Sales Director to join their busy team based in Guildford.


The main purpose of the role is to manage and oversee the sales operations in the organization to include the planning and directing of the company's Sales activities to achieve stated/agreed targets.


You will be responsible for designing plans to meet targets, developing relationships with clients/customers, and evaluating costs for selling their services.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring the performance of the sales teams by setting and reviewing goals and identifying any training needs.
  • Devising and implementing systems to keep staff motivated and maintain a high level of morale.
  • Recruiting and training sales staff and ensuring that the Sales functions are appropriately resourced to deal with fluctuations in sales volumes.
  • Researching, analysing, and setting price points to maximise sales and maintain healthy profit margins.
  • Identifying opportunities by keeping track of competitor activity.
  • Using industry knowledge to identify potential new markets and increase the market share.
  • Maintaining sales records and design reports to ensure that the data collected is being utilised effectively.
  • Creating strong and effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Work closely with marketing to design and implement the organisation's sales strategy.
  • Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets.
  • Working with other areas of the business to develop marketing materials and marketing opportunities.
  • Understanding the market and trends within it.
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, and conferences.
  • Ensure that the Sales functions carries out its Sales in accordance with the Business Plan & Policies established by the Board of Directors.
  • Help develop and implement Sales strategic plans and company policies, to drive p/l growth and Sales success.
  • To work with the other brands of the company to strive to maximise group Sales efficiencies.
  • To execute the responsibilities of a Company Director according to current lawful and ethical standards.
  • To ensure compliance of oneself with the Health and Safety at Work Act etc. 197
  • To ensure compliance of oneself with defined quality system policy and procedures in accordance with the various external standards.
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be requested by the company.

Salary:
£60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
  • Performance bonus
