Description

We are looking for a Locum Consultant Paediatrician with a Special Interest in Cardiology to join our Clinical team at Southend.

This vital post will see you using your expertise to improve the lives of children with sometimes complex conditions, while also being at the helm of driving this service forward.

The postholder will do 3/4 outpatient sessions per week.
The post holder will be expected to have the abilities to set up and work in a multidisciplinary team.
To take up leadership roles within the directorate and play an active role in the operational and strategic management of the department.
Provide leadership and participate in Clinical Audit programme and the improvement and updates required for Guidelines and protocols.

A formal job plan will be agreed with the appointee by the Clinical Director. This will be signed by the Medical Director and will then be reviewed annually, following an Appraisal Meeting.

2.75PA for 3 x clinics per week.

5.0PA HOT Activity - on call rota at site.

1.5 SPA (1 SPA timetabled)

0.75PA Admin (timetabled)

Total: 10PA
