Medical Receptionist/AdministratorHours: 09:30 - 18:30 or 13:00 - 18:30
Duties:
- Greet and checkin patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organised
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred but not essential. (Training will be given)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer serviceoriented approach
