We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Property Litigation team in Bristol, rated by Chambers & Partners as a national leader outside London.

This is a great opportunity to join a team who are continuing to see significant growth in work and to have the opportunity to build relationships with some fantastic clients whilst working in a collaborative team environment.

You will be joining a successful firm with a collegiate and supportive culture, which makes it a rewarding place to work.

The practice

Our specialist Property Litigation lawyers excel in helping clients resolve all kinds of disputes ranging from all aspects of landlord and tenant to complex and highly technical development and land rights disputes; the team have a particular focus on disputes arising out of the Electronic Communications Code ("the Code"), energy related land right disuptes, development disputes and commercial L&T.

We provide a cradle-to-grave service and have a wide range of experience, from advising clients on possible angles to exploit to add value on investment portfolios or development site clearance, to early-stage dispute avoidance advice and mediation, full-blown litigation and third-party determination.

The focus of this role will largely be on advising on development related disputes, commercial landlord and tenant and disputes in the Upper Tribunal arising under the Code as well.

The developer work supports the leading housebuilders in the UKl; the commercial landlord and tenant work will include acting for a number of pension funds and property companies owning significant commercial property portfolios; and the telecoms work will principally be acting for the UK's largest infrastructure provider.

The role will therefore provide a good mix of acting for well known, household names, across the range of cutting edge property related disputes.

The team

Led by Leona Briggs who is rated in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, the team spans the Bristol and London offices; in Bristol we are currently comprised of 2 Partners (including Leona), 2 Legal Directors, 5 Associate Directors, 4 Senior Associates, 6 Associates, 2 Trainee Solicitors, 1 Legal Executive and 5 Paralegals.

We work across office with our London colleagues and the team there comprises 2 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 3 Associate Directors, 1 Senior Associate, 2 Associates, 1 Trainee Solicitor and 1 Paralegal.

This role will primarily be supporting Leona Briggs, Partner and Emily van Schalkwyk, Partner.
