Junior Project Coordinator - Permanent - Reading (Remote)


My client is a B2B Software company and is looking for a Junior Project Co-ordinator with expertise in Project planning, Project coordination, speaking with clients, making sure projects get delivered on right time scales etc.


Purpose of the Role:

  • Coordinate and support the successful delivery of the business wide projects and work streams within the agreed time, whilst monitoring impacts and timescales and promoting quality criteria to ensure that business requirements and stakeholder expectations are met.

General / Core Competencies:

  • Exposure to the full software development life cycle and agile development practices.
  • Experience coordinating/managing the delivery of process and operational changes.
  • Understanding of project management techniques and disciplines.
  • Experience of coordinating/managing crossfunctional stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Proficient in use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Jira experience or similar tooling preferable.
  • Degree level education desirable or the equivalent level of onthejob learning.
  • Working knowledge of projects methodologies and project management principles would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Project Co-Ordinator skills and qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and update of appropriate plans, tasks, disciplines, and controls to ensure successful and controlled project delivery.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage risks to the project, implementing appropriate actions to mitigate using risk management techniques
  • Produce project documentation in line with the agreed methodology and provide regular, timely and accurate updates on progress.
  • Provide project management direction to the team to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide project management direction to the delivery teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Analyze the performance of projects and changes and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
  • Assist in the creation, coordination and running of any required meetings and workshops.
  • Support the project team in the triage and prioritization of requirements.
