Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Engineering & Surveying - Mechanical Services Maintenance Engineer role for our client in London Borough of Newham

The successful post holder will be able to work with individuals and Managers in order to deliver a high standard of Mechanical and Electrical services to Schools and to ensure Council is fully implementing it legal obligations and Duty of Care responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

The Overall purpose of this role is to deliver schools related mechanical works projects within Schools Capital Commissioning Service (SCCS).
To be responsible for a professional Mechanical Engineering service, all technical aspects of the repair, maintenance and new installation and in accordance with Newham Council's policies and procedures.
Be responsible for uploading all tender documents onto Newham's Tender Portal (Fusion) and evaluate and report on tenders.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum entry B.Tech Higher National certificate
Minimum entry requirement for IC.I.B.S.E or equivalent or either holding corporate membership of C.I.B.S.E or recognised equivalent.
