North Air is responsible for providing into-plane services on behalf of major oil companies. We operate at 20 locations across the UK, where we carry out approximately fuelling events per year. We aim to provide safe, reliable and efficient into-plane services to our customers' satisfaction.

The role will be working 3 x 12 hour shifts per week over 7 days
The salary for the role is £23,000 + £2,828 Shift Allowance
First line reporting to Site Supervisors, Second line Site Manager - The Fuelling Depot Operational Support Operative is responsible for carrying out general activities within the fuel farm to provide additional assistance to the supervisors and yardman which will support the efficiency of the operation.
Operational Yard Activities:
- To maintain and improve the Yard / Buildings with minor maintenance activities as tasked by the Manager
- Cleaning of fixed or mobile equipment where required
- General site housekeeping tasks to support the efficient and costeffective upkeep of the site
Receipt of Bridger Deliveries and Fuel Activities:
- Checking the documentation on incoming consignments is correct and that it corresponds to the transport (Bridger) concerned.
- Visual inspection and control checks on incoming material, including the checking of seals on vehicles if present.
- Accountable for supporting Bridger deliveries and the discharge of fuel into storage.
- Sampling of aviation products.
- Maintaining records of stock/quality/equipment checks as appropriate.
- Fuelling vehicle loading
- Adding volume to tank stock
- Use of conversion tables to convert depth (tape dip reading) into volume
Quality Control and Maintenance Activities:
- QC activities to include Sampling, checking continuity
- Tank / stock level management activities
- General plant and vehicle maintenance activities
HSSE Activities:
- Be HSSE minded and work safely at all times.
- Strictly adhere to the North Air H&S and Operational Guidelines and Safety Management System (SMS).
- Must report all unsafe acts and conditions and safety incidents to his / her supervisor at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Numeracy Skills
- Experience of Loading would be an advantage.
- Experience of Shunting would be an advantage.
Desirable
- HGV Class 1 License
