Female Support Worker - Gosport PO12

Full-Time contracts available (37.5 hours per week)

Must hold a Full UK/EU Driving Licence

The Dimensions team supports one lady in the Gosport area to live in her own home and be an active part of the community in Gosport and surrounding area.

We are looking for people who share our values and can support someone to have the life they want to live.

You do not need experience as full training is given. She has 2-1 support during the day.

You will be part of a team that works flexibly on a rota supporting who have been diagnosed with learning and physical disabilities in her own shared home.

The lady we support enjoys going out and about in the community, attending clubs, arts and crafts, and music sessions.

She enjoys spending time with friends and family. She will need support with cooking, finances, cleaning and attending health appointments.

She will also need support with personal care, medication administration and supporting her to have as much independence as possible.

They have a lease an adapted vehicle so drivers are essential.

You will be working within an established fun team that requires flexibility on hours.

The hours range from 07:00 -14:30, 14:30 - 21:00. Option of long days. There is the requirement to work every other weekend.

The role will involve:

Supporting with personal care
Support with shopping, cooking, housework including cleaning and laundry
Supporting with medication
Supporting and encouraging them to get involved in the activities they like to do
