    Quality Control (QC) Placement Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Quality Team as an intern. The role offers valuable work experience in a global FMCG company, with the opportunity to gain exposure in all areas of Quality Control.

    The Opportunity

    This 12-month internship is based in Folkestone, Kent, and provides a unique chance to develop skills in both analytical and microbiology laboratories, as well as incoming component inspection.

    • Laboratory Duties:
      • Performing analysis of Raw Materials, Bulk and Finished Product using techniques such as Ion Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Infra-Red, Karl Fischer, and Viscometers.
      • Microbiological analysis of Finished Products and Water samples.
      • Supporting investigations from Customer Complaints.
      • Assisting R&D with stability testing and investigations.
      • Ordering chemicals and supplies for the lab.
    • Exposure and Development:
      • Attending project meetings and discussions with various departments.

    Requirements

    We welcome applications from current students undertaking an industry placement year and also graduates seeking their first Quality Control opportunity.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Hold an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a Scientific subject.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
