Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Disrepair Surveyor to join their renowned Disrepair Team in Basildon. This temporary, full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of £30 - £40, dependent on experience. Based in Basildon, the role presents an opportunity to make a tangible impact within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveying properties and producing detailed reports
Ensuring compliance with Building Standards and legal requirements
Collaborating with the legal team to resolve cases efficiently
Providing exceptional customer service to residents, particularly those with escalated maintenance issues

Requirements:

Professional qualification (RICS) or extensive experience in surveying
Deep understanding of various builds and associated challenges
Experience in social housing and surveying different housing stock
Knowledge of contract legislation, including The Housing Conditions Protocol and the Fitness for Human Habitation Act
Full driving license and access to a car for travel
