    We're on the lookout for a confident, organised, and friendly Hotel Receptionist with previous experience in a customer facing administrative role to join our busy team at the hotel front desk. If you love helping guests feel welcome and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you

    As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences – from checking them in with a smile, helping them book dining/spa reservations to complement their stay, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes - all while maintaining our high level of customer service expected at our 4 star hotel.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Welcoming guests, dealing with enquiries, and handling check-in/check-out procedures including processing payments
    • Managing hotel, restaurant and spa break bookings via phone, email, and in person with a keen attention to detail throughout
    • Coordinating room reservations with housekeeping and other departments daily, ensuring smooth communication - especially with last minute changes
    • Assisting our Events, Conference and Weddings teams with booking enquiries and administration
    • Supporting Reception Manager and Supervisor by implementing procedures, applying attention to detail throughout booking processes, and maintaining your knowledge of the business to better assist guests and colleagues
    • Any other duties commensurate with the role

    What We're Looking For:

    • Previous experience in a hotel or front desk role
    • A natural people-person who can stay calm under pressure and provide service with a smile
    • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable using a variety of booking systems
    • Confident communicator, both in-person and over the phone
    • A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working shifts

    Shifts You'll Work:

    You'll work on a four-week rota which includes a range of:

    • Morning Shifts: 7am–3pm / 8am–4pm
    • Middle Shifts: 10am–6pm
    • Late Shifts: 2pm–10pm / 3pm–11pm

    Weekdays and weekends are part of the rota.

    £12.21 p/h with increase up to £12.74p/h upon successful completion of 3 month probationary period.
