Do have a talent for producing original copy and innovative social media content? Are you great at networking and making meaningful connections with people? We are recruiting for a Content Coordinator to join our client, the Union of an esteemed London university.

This is a part time, temporary role with an immediate start and will run for a period of 3 months.


The essence of the role of Content Coordinator is to develop a stronger connection between the Union and the students it represents.

You'll strengthen the online presence of the Union so that there is a better understanding of what they provide. Additionally, you'll evaluate content and share insight into what the students want more of. Acting as in-house journalist, you'll attend student events, gathering video footage and photos. You'll connect with staff social ambassadors to collect stories and content. Working with the Marketing & Engagement Manager, you will devise social schedules and develop content across typical digital channels. Previous experience in higher education or in a union would be an advantage.


Content Coordinator Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and publish communication and content plans for blog, website, social media, and news
  • Be a brand ambassador, attending events and building connections, developing opportunities for content collaboration
  • Promote public profiles of Trustees, and support on campaigns and key annual events
  • Stay current with trends within the Union, University, and student audience
  • Evaluate and report on content to inform improvements
  • Monitor and moderate social media posts and comments

Content Coordinator Key Skills:


  • Confident and assertive with excellent communication skills
  • Trendconscious and proactive, able to come up with innovative and fresh ideas
  • Highly engaging content creation, and social media expertise

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 21 per week


Salary:
£16.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
