Bank Reconciliations Assistant - Fixed Term

  • Marston Holdings Limited has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Reconciliations Assistant to join their team on a full time, fixed term basis covering maternity leave.
  • The Bank Reconciliations Assistant is responsible for bank administration and reconciliation of our client and group bank accounts at a transactional level.

Role & Responsibilities:


  • The role reports to the Treasury Manager and is responsible for supporting day to day bank and treasury related administrative processes including but not limited to:


  • Reconciling bank accounts

  • matching items in bank to journals processed
  • Resolving bank account queries, identified from reconciliation process, liaising with Cashiers / Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Teams to resolve issues.
  • Creating journals where needed to resolve queries
  • Ensure any processing issues are escalated to the Treasury Manager
  • Preparing interaccount transfers as needed
  • Ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the monthly reconciliations
  • Identify process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency and eliminate errors

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working with online banking and finance systems.
  • Natural desire to change and improve areas across the team.
  • Resourceful with ability to problem solve.
  • Flexible, selfstarter who takes ownership for their work.


  • Strong computer skills

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage relationships.
  • Organised and able to prioritise own workload.
