£24,000 Salary - Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Nursery Practitioner, holding a minimum Level 3** in childcare or equivalent? We are looking for warm and inspiring Practitioners to join our incredible team in the Baby room. Experience with under twos is desirable however passion for working with babies is the only essential, with specialist support and training provided. We have positions available in our wonderful new Baby Room at Lydstep Nursery with a significant Salary and Benefits Package.

Our Lydstep setting boasts some amazing new facilities, with state of the art resources and a collaborative and inspiring team.

Lydstep Nursery has a capacity for 150 children across 3 dedicated rooms with multiple free flow external spaces, and great opportunities for career progression.

Main duties and responsibilities:

To develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
To assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children's needs.
To work within the EYFS and promote high standards of care for the children.
To assume responsibility for key children and ensure their developmental needs are met, accurately recorded and learning diaries are up to date.
To help maintain a childcentered environment.
To use observation and reflective practice to contribute to planning and evaluation in the setting.
To maintain children's safety and well being at all times during attendance at the play setting and on trips to external facilities.
To ensure good communication with staff, parent's and carers.

Requirements:

This individual will have passion and enthusiasm for safeguarding children and delivering high standards of care.

Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
At least 1 years Childcare experience.
A great understanding of the EYFS.
A passion and enthusiasm for childcare.
Great communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
Good timekeeping, organisation and reliability.
