We are a dynamic and empowering team and as such the post holder will be expected to work well within a team setting, however, should also be able to deliver an autonomous service as part of the role, operating within recognised professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's service policies and procedures.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

Probationary Period

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).

Training and Qualifications:


  • A psychology or social sciences degree with eligibility for graduate membership of BPS.

Experience:


  • Experience in either a paid or voluntary capacity of working with individuals who are experiencing common mental health problems
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity which involved communication with members of the public.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Knowledge of common mental health problems and their impact on individuals.
  • Knowledge of IAPT and the Stepped Care approach
  • Basic awareness of IT and IT skills
