Do you want to help shape/be part of/contribute the development of Redbridge helping the council to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Redbridge.

Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse, and exciting east-London borough with fantastic facilities for our residents. We have developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council. This is an exciting time for the London Borough of Redbridge; we are at the heart of regeneration/supporting residents/change in East London.**Our Public Health Apprentice role offers you the chance to start your career in public health and be involved in shaping _(or other descriptive words) _that impact on your local community _(or other services, groups etc.)_


Once you complete your apprenticeship there is the potential to move through the career progression levels within the team and continue your career with us.

You will work in specified areas of public health and across lead areas in line with the

learning on the degree programme and the business need.

You will work across the three domains of public health as and when required:


  • Health Improvement
  • Health Protection
  • Healthcare Public Health


To carry out this role successfully you will need to have good communication skills with strong interpersonal skills as you will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

An

understanding of health inequalities and a willingness to develop your knowledge in this area is a must.

Above all, you will show a passion for the work we are doing and the drive to achieve great results with a willingness to learn.
