Sales, Marketing & Administration Officer

Location:
Unit 7b, Hendy industrial estate, Swansea SA4 0XP


Main Purpose of the position:

The successful applicant will be responsible for the internal sales and marketing operations and the day-to-day office administration.


Reports to:
Managing Director


Key relationships with:
Customers, Account Managers, Senior Management, Suppliers, Site Managers, other internal colleagues within SMR UK Ltd.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirements:
Answer incoming calls & enquiries, telesales /support for new and existing customers.

Generate cold sales leads, close warm sales leads, manage the sales pipeline, collect data, create and update databases ie. CRM system.


Manage enquiries from initial contact to completion of the order and/or allocate the enquiry to the relevant sales person and provide ongoing assistance to both the customer and account manager.

Sharing market intelligence with the Account Managers, including competitor activity and pricing.

Maintain a level of online marketing content, keeping the message and brand fresh.

Assist with SEO and content updates to the company website, including composing online content for the social media platforms.

Support the field sales team in marketing activities such as trade show, exhibitions and Demonstration/ training days.

Measure marketing performance, including campaign effectiveness and suggesting improvements based on learnings.

Co-ordinate site visits for the Area Managers to assist with job approval and compliance responsibilities.

Build relationships with the customers, external partners, sites, and colleagues to be No. 1 in Customer Service

Provide weekly/monthly update reports on enquiry levels, tenders, and live orders.

General administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:
Either be a Graduate and keen to progress or have proven experience

Skills:

Strong analytically, organisation, time management, prioritising, decision making, written and verbal communication and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

The ability to quickly grasp information. Very good proof-reading and copy checking skills. Structured thinking and problem solving with great attention to detail.


Experience (Essential): Some customer service experience, strong communication skills, including written and verbal, the ability to work alone or as part of a team, demonstrate some experience in a marketing and/or sales role.

IT Skills including MS Office. Experience of google search advertising, PPC, Google Analytics and WordPress. Strong skill set or some experience in Adobe, G-Suite, CRM, SEO and Social Media.

Experience (Knowledge would advantageous but not essential): Sales, Construction/building products, utility and waste industry knowledge/experience.

Salary:
Starting salaryat £22K plus commission
