Description

Our client is an offshore Law Firm that is growing and looking to expand its Technology Team via a new office in the UK, with the addition of a Group Technology Operations Manager.

It is an exciting time to join, as they are at the beginning of a significantProgramme of work which involves a technology refresh right across the business.

This includes core technology such as their Practice Management System but also new and upgraded systems across the Microsoft Stack.

You will have four direct reports who eachmanage service desks in four different locations, your role will be to manage the successful operational delivery of all technology development within the Group; this includes small initiatives and significant Group projects.


We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience of multi-jurisdictional technology operations team management
  • A proven ability to work in collaboration with multiple thirdparty suppliers and managed service partners to ensure consistently high levels of service and added value is provided
  • Experience of working in project teams delivering complex technologies in a multijurisdictional business
  • Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Technology ITIL framework & possess an ITIL qualification
  • Be able to demonstrate evidence of delivering successful target operating model and process improvements
  • Degree level education/strong academic results preferred.
  • Experience of working in an ISO27001 control framework or similar would be preferred


It is a 35hr week with flexible working and a great opportunity to be one of the first professionals in their new UK Office.

There will also be an opportunity to visit their other offshore offices around the world.


The role is 2/3 Days per week (or more if preferred) in their new central Southampton Offices close to restaurants, bar and leisure facilities, trains, car parking and airport.

Up to £95k base salary
