  • The role is to work within a dynamic and high performing team on delivering supply & compliance projects associated with the global Pain portfolio. This role will mainly focus on coordinating & carrying out R&D activities required to support the implementation of Key Supply & Compliance projects, such as raw material changes, process improvements, manufacturing site changes and overall product resiliency.

Your responsibilities:


  • Provide accurate technical support (analytical & formulation) for multiple product classifications: medical device, licensed medicines & general products.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods as required in line with ICH Q2(R1) and ICH Q1
  • Support in solving complex technical problems using experience, knowledge, research, and advice.
  • Author & Review protocols, reports, Module 3 CTD's and required analytical documentation in line with current best practice and internal SOP requirements.
  • Line management of a small group, monitoring and encouraging their personal and professional growth and development
  • Be the R&D representative in cross function discussions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the wider team with respect to compliance, H&S, and audit readiness.
  • Work with other teams globally across R&D, supply, quality and regulatory to ensure projects (Process improvements, business continuity, gross margin expansion, new system implementation) are delivered on time and to a high quality.

The experience we're looking for:


  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Chemistry or Biological Science.
  • Desirable, but not essential, to have relevant experience of product development within an R&D Healthcare or FMCG or Medical Device environment including experience with regulatory dossiers (CTD, eCTD, ACTD).
  • Results orientated, selfmotivated with an ability to evaluate and take risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask without compromising quality and delivery.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity ability to think out of the box.

  • Produce work of the highest quality in accordance with the relevant guidelines to challenging time scales, right first time.
  • Technical problem solving and troubleshooting when required, ensuring issues are addressed without delay to projects.
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship with Global R&D product development teams, Supply, Procurement Compliance, Regulatory & Quality teams across the globe.
