This is an exceptional opportunity to join us as the Senior Associate Director, Trusts & Foundations, where you will drive the trusts and foundations fundraising strategy for the University of Cambridge.

You will work with some of the most significant trusts and foundations globally to secure philanthropic support for the University's most important priorities such as Widening Participation, Global Humanities, Climate Change and cutting-edge research advancements across a wide variety of academic departments.


We are a friendly and lively Development and Alumni Relations team who work hard to support and deliver the University of Cambridge's significant potential.

Your expertise and strategic vision will be instrumental in identifying and securing partnerships with major trusts and foundations.

Working collaboratively with your Development & Alumni Relations colleagues and across Collegiate Cambridge, you will have the opportunity to make a profound difference to the work we do here.


Reporting to the Director of Development, University Strategic Initiatives, you will lead a team of two Associate Directors and build relationships across the University and externally at the most senior levels.


The position of Senior Associate Director, Trusts and Foundations, is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work at significant scale and is motivated by the impact they will have at this unique institution.

Experience of higher education fundraising is not necessary but you will need emotional intelligence, strong relationship-building skills and a track record in successful trust and foundations fundraising.
