Would you like to inspire and encourage young people, to achieve their full potential? This could be the role for you supporting pupils in an alternate schooling provision between the ages of 5 and 16 years

As a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school, no two days are the same and you expect to undertake the following duties day-to-day:

  • Prepare activities and learning materials under the supervision of the teacher.
  • Work inside or outside the classroom with individuals or small groups.
  • Adapt the level of support given, according to the needs your pupils.
  • Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare. Reporting any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
  • Support the class teacher, to create a stimulating environment for students with Autism.
Hours of work are 8.30am until 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Take full advantage of the school holidays with this term-time only role, perfect for work/life balance and other commitments
