PANEL WIRER

JOB PURPOSE:
Working as part of a team to wire electrical control panels and equipment from detailed engineering drawings.


Reporting to Manufacturing Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Construction of control panels and equipment following engineering drawings.
  • Support System build and Sub Assembly with any electrical work required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
  • To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales.
  • To adhere to the company policies and procedures.
  • To ensure quality standards are met.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Handson experience of electrical equipment and control panel building.
  • Ability to read and understand schematic drawings.
  • Ability to complete electrical testing and inspection.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of using various hand tools.
  • Have sound knowledge of manufacturing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • City & Guilds Electrical qualification / 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferable.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Selfmotivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks.
  • Keen to accept responsibility and accountability.
  • Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Selfdriven for progressive and continued learning and development.
  • Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
